VC Health's SMS program allows us to send you text messages related to Medicare plan information, appointment reminders, enrollment deadlines, and follow-up communications from our licensed Medicare insurance agents. Messages may include:
- Confirmation of your plan comparison request or contact form submission.
- Reminders about upcoming Medicare enrollment periods (Annual Enrollment Period, Open Enrollment Period, Special Enrollment Periods).
- Information about Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, and Part D plan options.
- Follow-up messages from your assigned VC Health agent.
- Responses to questions you have submitted via our website or phone.
2. How to Opt In
You opt in to receive SMS messages from VC Health by:
- Submitting your mobile phone number through any form on our website (including the Contact form and the Find Plans form) and checking the SMS consent checkbox, or
- Verbally consenting to receive text messages when speaking with a VC Health agent by phone.
By opting in, you confirm that you are the account holder or authorized user of the mobile number provided and that you are at least 18 years of age.
3. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your interactions with VC Health and the Medicare enrollment calendar. You may receive up to 5 messages per month. During peak enrollment periods (October 1 – December 7 for the Annual Enrollment Period), message frequency may be higher.
4. Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. The cost of receiving SMS messages depends on your mobile carrier and plan. VC Health does not charge you for sending messages, but your carrier may charge standard messaging rates. Check with your mobile carrier for details about your plan's messaging rates.
5. How to Opt Out (STOP)
You may opt out of receiving SMS messages from VC Health at any time by:
- Replying STOP to any text message you receive from us.
- Emailing us at [email protected] with "SMS Opt Out" in the subject line.
- Calling us at 1 (888) 592-2613 and requesting to be removed from our SMS list.
After you send STOP, you will receive one final confirmation message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. You will not receive any further SMS messages from VC Health unless you opt in again. Opting out of SMS does not affect your ability to receive services from VC Health or to be contacted by other means.

VC Health's SMS program is supported by most major U.S. wireless carriers, including but not limited to AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, Boost Mobile, U.S. Cellular, and MetroPCS. Carrier support is not guaranteed for all carriers. VC Health and its messaging platform providers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
8. Privacy
Your mobile phone number and any information you share via SMS will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We will not share your mobile number with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We may share your number with our SMS service provider(s) solely for the purpose of delivering messages to you.
9. Not a Condition of Purchase
Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchasing any insurance product or receiving services from VC Health. You may request a Medicare plan comparison and enroll in a plan without consenting to receive text messages.
10. TCPA Compliance
VC Health's SMS program is designed to comply with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), the CAN-SPAM Act, and applicable state laws governing electronic communications. We will only send text messages to individuals who have provided prior express written consent. 11. Changes to These SMS Terms
We may update these SMS Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by sending you an SMS message or by posting the updated terms on our website.
