WHEN CAN YOU ENROLL?

Initial Enrollment Period

3 months before to 3 months after your 65th birthday

Your first opportunity to enroll in Medicare. Missing this window may result in late enrollment penalties.

Annual Enrollment Period

October 15 – December 7

Switch Medicare Advantage plans, add or drop drug coverage, or return to Original Medicare. Changes take effect January 1.

Special Enrollment Period

Triggered by qualifying life events

Moving, losing employer coverage, or other qualifying events may allow you to change plans outside the standard enrollment window.
