Administrative Assistant

As an Administrative Assistant at VC Health, you will play a key role in supporting our insurance agents and office operations. You will be responsible for checking insurance policies, performing data entry tasks, and providing general administrative support. The ideal candidate is highly organized, has excellent communication skills, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Location: Deerfield Beach, FL  

Job Type: Full-Time  

Experience Level:  Entry-Level to Mid-Level  

Pay Scale: $30,000 - $40,000 per year

Key Responsibilities:
• Review insurance policies for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company standards.

• Enter data into the company's database and maintain accurate records.

• Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, document preparation, and report generation.Coordinate with insurance agents to ensure smooth processing of client applications and policy renewals.

• Handle incoming calls and emails, providing excellent customer service to clients and partners.

• Schedule meetings, appointments, and other activities for the team.

• Maintain office supplies and equipment, ensuring a well-organized and efficient workspace.Support special projects and other administrative tasks as needed.


Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in office administration is a plus.

• Previous experience in an administrative or data entry role, preferably in the insurance or healthcare industry.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities.

• A customer-centric approach and a positive attitude.
